How did we came up with this idea?


As cities will be more and more pedestrian and connected, we wanted to create green connected parking in huge cities via our app to facilitate the moving out (know when a parking space is vacant) and make it more affordable for students.

When we worked on this concept, we automatically though that it needed to solve many issues-related to the move out especially for students. Indeed, whether it be transportation issues, traffic jams, the accessibility of the building, knowing which vehicule to rent, where to park, for how long, how much is it going to cost: a move out is always a brain-teaser. But it doesn't start the day of the move out; there are other issues like where to find some furniture, where are the trendy neighborhoods, what should we know when we move out here ...
That is why our application tried taking all of these problems into account and making it specially suited for students.

We imagined connected car parks because cities are morphing into smart cities, and we need to evolve with our time and in this case, be a pioneer in the move out sector. Transport has also evolved, including individual. Self-service vehicles are already available (autolib in Paris, Bluely in Lyon ...). Also, the collaborative economy is taking off, and exchanges, loans, purchases, rentals of goods & services between individuals is becoming more common and extends to many sectors. Offers concerning vehicles adapted to move should very soon see the light of day, and are sometimes even accessible.

Who are we aiming?

With our connected parking, people and especially students with a tiny budget who aren't used to move out will benefit from a student rate, from tips to know everthing that there is to know when you move out, websites' links to cheap fournitures, the metro and bus stations nearby etc. Indeed, not only does this app aim to facilitate the struggle of finding a parking spot and to reduce Co2 emissions thanks to electric cars that we can rent; but it also aim to make students' lives easier thanks to low prices and very useful tips.

What does our app provide you?

Thanks to Moveasy, you will know in real time when a spot is available next to your new home and where to park. The parkings, outside or inside, will be connected and greener so it allows people to reduce their gas consommation while moving out. Students have a discount as usually they try to save money. The concept is useful, allows students to move peacefully without a lot of spending and green for the planet.
As our app anticipates all your needs (vehicules, tips, parking spot, traffic jams, ...), you can move out with a clear head!

How to Use the Application

Every user can start by create an account, complete a profile and add the documents needed to justify student status. Then, the user enter his itinerary and characteristics and can choose between 3 options: Plan the departure, when the user can access to tips about moving out and rent a vehicle; Plan the traject, where the user can see traffic with smart cities and communicate with other users; and finnaly Plan the arrival, where the user can book a parking space for a limited time slot and see detailed informations about the destination area.

Technical Details


Tools needed to develop the project

Our application is based on the utilisation of cities databases. With smart cities, we can access all the information about the traffic, the city and parkings. In order to being able to offer all the services of our application, the application need to access to this data. A partnership with the cities would be necessary to connect all the things. The application also use APIs to be able to download informations and location (with Mappy and/or Google Maps for example), to enable destination, itinerary, etc. Finally, the application need a payment process & securised, and need to store the data of the customers.
